The bold heroes, happy and hale, briefly toast their victory

Varmagic routed, a mighty gift for the Maker of Kings restored

then discuss safe shelter for the night

trusting the Storm, they head towards the steep slope

deemed Orlanth's Hill, with secret passage behind blue stone

But the Storm Siblings, buoyed by the Breath of the World

easily scale the steep slopes, first to gaze at the sights below

and above in the distance looms the Holy Mother of Kings

while wintry winds to whirl and wind around the peaks.

Shortly joined by their companions, the heroes rest for the night

safe in the Defthands of the Lord of Dragons,

as Heaven's gem goes mildly below the earth

Lagertha spoke quietly with Baugi, their mother had revealed truths

then tried to console Bronwyn, who slept fitfully through the night.

A clear Green morning greets them, hawks fly the bold breezes

The ruins below, Sorala consulting and writing on the map

clearly they see the vile haunts of Varmandi,

and the ruins of KoralStead, and the tomb of the hero.

The party heads home, towards the land of the Dawn

Late in the day an encounter, young centaurs

Andrenik whispers with them, nearby we can find Dappled Light

The Priestess of Webs greets us, and the Goldentongue speaks of our story

telling of the great plinth rising far into the clouds, the runes on the base

Laughing Lagertha asks of the brave 16, lives cut short in great battles with Uz

Before she turns somber, brings forth a bundle, bows, the bones of Makes Scratches

lost years ago, now returned home.  Sorala returned her map, back to its place

a feast of friendship was followed by feasting, drink and smoking

as sacred bonds of eternal friendship were sworn.

Robbie spoke long to one, seeking their knowledge of exotic mounts.

On to Duskpoint, Bronwyn visis her temple, then to Clearwine they sail

a pleaseant surprise, beautiful Brightflower greets them all

with special greeting to her betrothed, Baugi the Thane

She brings news of Apple Lane, a red-smith and weapon-thane are found

and plans for their wedding in two days abound.

Lagertha and Freyar find Asmara, young friend of lost Treya

tell tall tales of her end, small tears touch their eyes,

An Unexpected boon, Asmara to serve as maid at townhouse.

Next morn, the Earth Temple all visit, to find

Daravalla, Four-born and Ereneva breaking their fast

laughter, not tension, fills the room, former rivals at peace

Ereneva, knowing their scheme, asks "Did you find anything?"

Freyar steps forward, simply says "yes"

puts the plainly wrapped bundle before them, they slowly unwrap

Stunned silence, the gift of the Thunder struck

then Daravala slowly picks up the sacred mirror

the green power of earth enfolds her, AllMother arises

Her divine voice sings high hosannas of praise

all join in, the Green Mother present throughout

Impromptu service ends, many thanks to the heroes

their missions completed above all expectations
